Sweet corn from Dagele Brothers Farm in Florida, NY. Chef tip: If you don't have access to a grill, shave the corn kernels off the cob and quickly saute them with other fresh summer vegetables like peppers, okra, or eggplant. Cut each vegetable into bite size pieces then saute them in olive oil in batches on their own, and transfer them into one mixing bowl as you go. When everything is cooked, gently mix them together with a little more olive oil, chili flakes, lemon zest or juice, and some freshly chopped garlic and herbs like parsley or dill. Eat at room temperature as a side with lunch or dinner, or with 2 eggs and a piece of toast for a hearty breakfast! 1 ear.
