Founded by a farmer and school teacher, Green Top Farms is an independently owned and operated business on a mission to bring nutritious food to people in all situations.
Built and bootstrapped over the last 10 years, we’re proud to have worked closely with World Central Kitchen and various agencies to bring food and ingredients to where they’re needed most in times of crisis.
We partner with school networks and the City of New York to impact the city-wide menu and bring nutritious recipes directly to NYC school children.
We leverage our robust network of local farms, vast facilities, and cold-chain logistics to provide New York Grown & Certified produce to school networks allowing them to build nutritious, high quality food programs.
Our ingredients come straight from the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley, where generations of farmers steward the land with care. We source produce from farms like Hepworth Farms in Milton, grains and beans from Seneca Grain in Penn Yan, and root vegetables from Dagele Farms in the Black Dirt Region of New York State, just a short drive away from NYC. By sourcing close to home, we reduce food miles, support family farms, and ensure every dish reflects the bounty of the Northeast.
